If the Moon is your friend you are never bored at night. You can play hide-and-seek with it or count the stars in its company. You can go on a long, mysterious – boat trip! But when you fall asleep the Moon guards you all through the night. Its friendship never withers even though the Moon is sometimes as thin as a mouse’s tail.
The author of the prizewinning silent book Ferdo, the Giant Bird now tells us the story about the unusual friendship between the Moon and the Girl. The poetic text and magical illustrations have a playful way of drawing our attention to tiny nature’s miracles.
Moon and Me has been selected for Illustrators Exhibition of Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2018; Nami Concours 2015, Purple Island Award. It received Kristina Brenkova Award 2019 (The Original Slovene Picture Book Award).
